The Florissant Valley Fire Protection District is putting one of its spare ambulances up for sale. The ambulance is a 2009 Chevrolet Medium Duty (Kodiak/C4500) Chassis with a 6.6 L Duramax diesel engine, an Allison transmission, and has 151,341 miles on it. The ambulance also has a Kelderman air ride suspension. In full disclosure, the district has experienced issues with the rear end involving the suspension, air bags, and sway bar bolts during its ownership of the ambulance. The district is asking $7500 for the ambulance.
