The District operates three firehouses and an administration building. In an emergency, always dial 911.

House 1 & Administration

Firehouse 1 and the Administration Building sit at the corner of St. Ferdinand Street and St. Francois Street in Florissant. Both were built with bond proceeds, and crews moved into this location on August 27, 2009.

Apparatus

Historically, Firetruck 4015 and Ambulance 4017 responded from House 1. 4015 entered service in July 2004, purchased with funds from the 2002 bond issue, a rescue-ladder-pumper with a 105-foot ladder, built by Pierce in Appleton, Wisconsin, replacing the 15-year-old aerial 4012. Ambulance 4017 is an MXP-170E built by Demers Ambulances on a 2017 Dodge 5500 chassis, in service since May 2018. Ambulance 4097, also stationed at House 1, is an MXP-170 built by Demers on a 2016 Ford F450 chassis. Both were purchased with funds from a bond issue reaffirmed by district residents in 2014.

Firehouse 2 sits at the corner of Pohlman Road and Derhake Road in Florissant. It was built with bond proceeds, and firefighters moved in on August 4, 2009.

Apparatus

Historically, Firetruck 4024 and Ambulance 4027 responded from House 2. 4024 entered service on August 2, 2004, purchased from the 2002 bond issue, a Pierce Dash rescue pumper that replaced 4020, now used as a spare. Ambulance 4027 is an MXP-170E built by Demers Ambulances on a 2019 Dodge Ram Diesel I6 5500 chassis, in service since April 2020, purchased with funds from the 2014 bond issue.

Firehouse 3 sits on Shackelford Road just northeast of Humes Lane. It was built with bond proceeds, and firefighters moved in during September 2006.

Apparatus

Historically, Firetruck 4034 and Ambulance 4037 responded from House 3. 4034 is a 2007 Pierce rescue pumper placed in service on December 15, 2006, purchased from bond proceeds. Ambulance 4037 is an MXP-170E built by Demers Ambulances on a 2019 Dodge Ram Diesel I6 5500 chassis, purchased with funds from the 2014 bond issue. Spare Ambulance 4087, housed in the storage facility next to House 3, is an ActionSafe custom ambulance built by MEDTEC on a 2009 Chevrolet Kodiak 4500 chassis.
