Firefighter/Paramedic

General requirements
All applicants must, prior to applying:
- Be 21 or older by the date of hire
- Possess a valid driver's license
Firefighter/Paramedic
- Firefighter I and II certifications from the St. Louis County Fire Academy, or current enrollment at the time of application
- A valid State of Missouri Paramedic license
- ACLS, PHTLS, and PALS certifications
- CPAT certification by the date of hire
Community Paramedic
- A valid State of Missouri Community Paramedic license
- A single-resource position that does not require the Firefighter/Paramedic qualifications

Submit the online employment application, or apply in person at the Administrative Office, 661 St. Ferdinand Street, Florissant, MO 63031, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The online application collects your personal information, education, employment experience, references, and required documents (resume, paramedic license, driving record, and Missouri driver's license), and requires agreement to the certification and terms.
