The Florissant Firefighters Community Outreach (FFCO) program was created for Firefighter/Paramedics of the Florissant Valley Fire Protection District to be involved in the community. Over the years, the Outreach Program has hosted many activities to raise funds to support local charities and people in crisis. Our members greatly enjoy their service to the community and look forward to giving back through these events.
FFCO has raised over $70,000 for local families and charities through several annual events including but not limited to the following:
- Annual Golf Tournament
- Firefighters collect for MDA
- Movie night in the fire house
- Santa’s sleigh
- Thanksgiving meals for families in crisis
- Black Light Bingo Bash
- BBQ for Senior living facilities
- Haunted House
- Story time with Firefighters for 1st graders
- Christmas support for families in crisis
