A message from Chief Seppelt:
Thank you for visiting the Florissant Valley Fire Protection District website and your interest in our organization.
The Florissant Valley Fire Protection District was founded in 1919 and has transformed from a small volunteer department to the professional group of career Firefighter/Paramedics it is today. The District takes pride in its ability to serve the needs of the community. Each year our residents call upon our 60 Firefighter/Paramedics to respond to medical emergencies, structure fires, technical rescues, hazardous material incidents and vehicle accidents. The District responds to over 10,000 emergency calls a year, making it the second busiest fire agency in St. Louis County.
I am proud to represent such a fine organization and impressed on a daily basis with the compassion and resourcefulness of the men and women of our Department and their commitment to the resdients and businesses of our District.
Please don’t hestitate to call or send me a message if you have any questions or concerns.
